Primary Schools
We teach yoga to primary school children as part of the school day/curriculum or in after school clubs and we can also offer classes for staff and teachers. A whole school approach to well-being has the most far reaching benefits.

In primary schools we offer a set school programme that is progressive and developmental and tailored to children at this stage. We have a flexible approach to schools, offering regular classes, one off events or nurture groups. Our primary school classes incorporate breathing and calming mindful exercises with yoga postures and sequences, yoga games and the all important relaxation - we give children space to move, breathe and relax.

We use themes within our classes linked to the children's age and development and classes include topics such as: around the world, health and fitness, building balance, feelings, the elements, plants, vikings, rainforests. The classes foster communication and connection and encourage creative thinking and active listening with an emphasis on emotional wellbeing and self-awareness and self-regulation. The children will also be learning tools to understand and manage their anxiety.

Within a primary school we can offer:
Weekly yoga in timetable: PE or topic related lessons
Wellness days for the whole school (half or full day)
Year 6 Yoga for SAT preparation - mindfulness and calm classes
Year 6 Yoga for transition to secondary school (summer term)
Holiday projects and family yoga
